A note from the founder

Better Company starts with the kind of room I wanted to find.

I'm starting Better Company because I've met so many ambitious people building, freelancing, creating, or working remotely, but without a consistent place to meet others in the same season of life.

I want this to feel different from a typical networking event: less transactional, more thoughtful, more generous, and more fun. The first 50 founding members will help shape what it becomes.

No. Better Company is for people already building and people who want to build but haven't started yet.

No. It's broader than tech — freelancers, creators, operators, remote workers, side-hustlers, and aspiring builders are all welcome.

It starts with a private Slack community, weekly check-ins, small-group virtual meet-and-greets, and a July 2026 Toronto kickoff. More in-person events and workshops will follow as the community grows.

The one-time contribution helps cover community launch costs and includes one year of private Slack access for founding members.

We'll see what the community becomes and share renewal or next-step options with founding members before the first year ends.
